This qualification is aimed at level 3 qualified fitness instructors and personal trainers and focuses on how to manage obesity and diabetes using exercise and nutritional strategies. It evaluates the myths and truths surrounding obesity and provides a series of scientifically supported answers to tackle bulging waistlines and restore health and vitality.

Students learn via 2 face to face days and some great interactive online resources, virtual lectures and videos designed by our team of medical doctors

Over the two days you will cover:

  • Diabetes and Obesity Investigations and Management
  • Exercise Prescription

Certification
Active IQ Level 4 Certificate in Exercise and Nutritional Interventions for Obesity and Diabetes (QCF).

Entry Requirements
Students must have completed the Exercise Referral Course. If you have not completed this qualification; you can book the two together through our Career Package page.

You will be supported throughout the course by your dedicated educational supervisor. Your tutor will be a medical doctor who is also an experienced fitness professional.

Here we look at the latest research and evidence in diabetes and obesity. We update this module annually in line with new research.

This CPD course will give you an overview of the origins of Strength and Conditioning and how to incorporate Strength and Conditioning into programmes to help clients recover from injury.

At the end of the course you will receive a certificate, signed by Nick Grantham, as evidence of your CPD.
